The Daily Teaser — 15-4-2015: Sink The Titanic

You know I do babysitting, right … ?

Well, no, actually, no I don’t.

But, yesterday, I did manage to look after my four year old nephew, Jude.

Who’s incredibly cute, it has to be said.

Incredibly cute …

And who thoroughly enjoys marbles.

Actually, no, that’s wrong, too.

What he likes — to the point of making sure his Uncle Paul promised to get him another — is those Marble racing things: assorted tubes and pipes you can hook together to race marbles down.

This thing!

You’ve got to love noisy stuff like that, haven’t you … ?

But let’s — after all that clacking — get a move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring five out of six.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s Titanic questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How ToLicense and video

Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

A5) Idi Amin Dada.
Q6) Finally … 14th April, 1929, saw the birth of Gerry Anderson.   What was the name of the puppet show that made Anderson’s name, internationally?
I’ll leave you with this observation from one of the survivors of the Titanic’s sinking …
“The Titanic sank about 2:20 a.m. April 15, 1912, according to the records.   I saw it slide down into the ocean to its horrible finish.   The moment it sank left a memory of something that haunts me till this day.   It was the eerie sound of the people groaning and screaming frantically for help, as they were hurtled into the icy water.   Almost all died from the cold water.   The sounds lasted for about 45 minutes and then faded away.”

Louis Garrett, Titanic survivor.
And with this tune: apparently as version of it, in this particular setting, was what the band were playing as the ship went down …

Have a good day.

*        Talking of The film of the book, Debbi, guess what’s still in production limbo?   Neuromancer … !   Going by the bits I’ve seen on the net, we’re going to waiting a long time.   Either that, or Strange Days, which lifted so many elements, is the nearest we’ll get …
