Which was Tuesday … and a day I had to make a couple of very long phone calls!
One … ?
Was to my electricity supplier: my smart meter’s having issues connect to the network, and to what’s called the in-home display, the little gadget that tells me how much money I’ve got left on the system.
An engineer’s turning up on Thursday: to have a look at the thing.
Hopefully, that will solve any issues: even though it means turning off the electricity for about twenty minutes.
The other call … ?
Was to my internet service provider.
I’m on a cheap tariff, as I’m in receipt of benefits.
But wanted to upgrade my tariff to the full fibre version.
I’ve still not got a definite date for that … but know I have to give them a call tomorrow afternoon: when the meter engineer is here.
And also found out the company had my correct address as my billing address … but had the flat next door listed as my residential address.
Quite what’s happening, there, I don’t know!
Ho hum!

And the teams unofficial theme tune …

AI is avoided when writing these questions.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.
* Hello, Mum! (It was heading for the Moon, Mum, not Mars.)
† He always seemed very … well … very ‘Cool Youth Pastor’, Debbi! (Andrew Garfield was a personal favourite. The little I read of the comic, as a youngster, the character always struck me as gobby: Garfield got that aspect spot on … )

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
