What species did you say they were? Eastern Tumblers?
‡ Morning, Irene: how IS the day?
§ Yep: it’s definitely not good, Debbi. I think the phrase has its roots in an old ad for Burton beer, although Wikipedia tells us that’s disputed: they say it has its origins in RAF slang. I always think it's on a par with “I bet he drinks Carling Black Label.”
Q5) 22nd of March They are Eurasian collared-doves (or collared doves), and they came back! We saw the parents by the escalator and then the fledgling appeared on another tree, but later in the evening the three of them were around the next again, and today the little one is on the same tree where the nest is, getting very wet. I wondered at some point if there might be more eggs to come... I added some more videos yesterday. Sorry to hear about your relationship, although I had no idea you were seeing somebody. I hope you're OK.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
