You’ll remember that Friday saw me spending time with my nephew: and having a good time.

Until Deliveroo got involved.

The meal we’d ordered was half an hour late, getting to us an hour after we’d ordered it: rather than the promised twenty to thirty minutes.

Thankfully?

And after figuring out the complaints system … ?

Deliveroo have agreed to refund the money.

It will go through, I’m told, ‘in 5-7 working days, depending on your bank’.

Here’s hoping …

†        I always think that’s where science can learn a thing or two, Olga: by looking at the stuff that’s as common as muck.   I seem to recall reading that archeologists had no idea, sometimes, what an ancient clay tablet was talking about: as — for the writers of the thing — the subject was so well known they didn’t need to explain it.
