Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 15th November 2025.

15th November, 2025.

Right … there’s been an announcement!

The BBC has announced that the first two episodes of The War Between Land and Sea will air in the UK on Sunday, 7th December.

With Russell T. Davies telling us that the remaining three episodes will air over the following two weeks.

Going by the publicity I’ve seen, so far … ?

It will air on Disney+, outside the UK: in 2026.

~≈🌊≈~

Now … I have to admit, I’m looking forward to The War Between Land and Sea.

Even though I, like many fans, had issues with the finales of Ncuti’s two series.

Generally?

Russell T. Davies could do very good Whoniverse-theme Spin-offs.

But one thing I have noticed?

Is that this spin-off will air, internationally, in 2026.

I think that difference in dates is going to cause problems.

Is going to cause people to look for the episodes on torrent tracking sites like Pirate Bay.

That’s not something we should be encouraging* …

“Raising kids is part joy and part guerrilla warfare.”

A song …

And an earworm¹ …

§        Hello, Mum!

¶        I still think catching Absolutely Fabulous would grab you, Debbi.   As would The Vicar of Dibley.   The latter’s on Amazon, so you know.
Oh, you might want to listen to today’s edition of Saturday Live.   Paul Cook, the drummer from The Pistols, is on …

¹        I saw the band do that song on №73, many years ago.   The lead singer ripped a phone book in half as part of the song.   That was comparatively tame, compared to Iggy Pop’s appearance …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
