* Hello, Mum!
† I think multiple versions are usually about the marketing, Olga: I picked up the Ultimate Cut of Watchmen, recently. Which is an hour longer than the original theatrical cut: the original was 163 minutes!
But with The Brain of Morbius? Re-releasing TV shows onto VHS was a radical new idea, at the time: I *think* cutting forty minutes out was the BBC’s way of keeping the cost down. Forty minutes less tape meant they’d lost less money if the idea fell flat.
‡ The Migratory Toad sign, Debbi … ? There doesn’t look there is one in the US: at least, not according to this site.
That said? It looks like there’s a Kangaroo warning sign doing the rounds. I don’t know if that’s a big issue in suburban Maryland …
Q5) stunt-woman You're probably right about saving on costs. I hope the weather doesn't get much colder. We're expecting milder weather for the next few days, thankfully, and it's sunny. If only the finish removing the scaffolding in front of our window, perhaps we'll get a bit of light coming in through the windows. The refurbishment of the building's façace has been going on since September and it's driving me insane. And, the worst thing is that they won't complete the work outside of my mother's apartment until the end, because as it is one of the lowest flats and it doesn't have a balcony, they need a different scaffolding, and they've decided to complete the other side of the building using the same scaffolding first...
Oh, here I share the links to the celebrations of New Year's Eve, the Encampment of the Three Kings and the parade the day after. I warn you that I was supposed to one of the pages of the three kings, and I'm dressed up even more than other years (I am one of the people wearing a sort of turban/cap with a feather on it), just in case it's not that evident, as my mother didn't seem to recognise me (and she was there and had seen me dressed up, although the illness doesn't help). I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

Our neighborhood tends to have more deer than kangaroos. Maybe a few toads. :) But I think they're non-migratory. Maybe.
