The Daily Teaser — 11-05-2012

Blimey … !

Isn’t it amazing what you find out, listening to Radio 4?

The Today show’s managed to pick up on a story in The Times Of India about — get this — Tweets In Space.

Apparently … ?

Apparently, a rather avant-garde art project will — this September — be broadcasting any tweet marked with the hash tag tweetsinspace, to GJ667Cc: a planet thought to have life as we known it.

Hmmm …

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

Before I start speculating* …

Yesterday’s teaser saw Debbi putting in her answers: and, along with admitting she’s managed to drive herself to Annapolisº, also scoring 7 out of 8.

Let’s see how she — and you — do with today’s questions, shall we?   Here they are, along with the ‘How To’, License and video …

Enjoy those, everyone: I’ll catch you later …

After I’ve left you with a tune from the Animals.

After all, it IS Eric Burdon’s birthday …

*        Nope! Too late!   I can just see the results.   Strange alien creatures turning up on our doorstep, landing outside the White House, marching up to the President, and saying “Take Us To Your Tweader”.   Or a Vogon ship’s captain starting a big broadcast with “Tweeple of #Earth, your #attention, please … ”.

º        Wow, I’m impressed!   Good for you, Debbi, I know exactly what a job that must’ve been … !

  1. Thanks, Paul! :) It felt good to know I could. My hand was barking at me a bit, but I managed. :)

My proof copy arrived! I blogged about it. It needs work, but that'll get done. Just having that book in hand is such a thrill.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.

*   I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
