Remember me saying, yesterday, I was expecting a visit from an engineer, who’d be checking out my boiler … ?
That was a laugh … !
The chap eventually turned up, just after eleven, and checked everything out — including the knob twiddling I’d managed to do, based on advise from previous visits — and pronounced it all fine.
This morning, or course, I’ve got no heating, I’m currently filling the bath with a kettle, and have a little light on the boiler telling me there’s a blocked flue/drain.
Ho-hum.
I think I’m going to be having another word with my landlord, in a bit …
