The Daily Teaser — 22-08-2012

You know, I think the weather’s calming down a bit.

JUST a little bit.

At least, going by the weather woman who’s happily chatting away in the background, on the BBC’s news channel.

I’m thankful.

I know the sunny weather — extremely sunny, on some days — is nice.

But, by gods, it’s made for uncomfortable sleeping … !

Let’s get moving on, shall we … ?

Enjoy those, everyone: I’ll leave you with this quote from the late Ray Bradbury, born today in 1920.
“We were put here as witnesses to the miracle of life. We see the stars, and we want them. We are beholden to give back to the universe … If we make landfall on another star system, we become immortal”  Ray Bradbury, August 22, 1920 – June 5, 2012
And as it’s also the birthday of Living Colour frontman, Vernon Reid, here’s one of the bands big hits …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.

*   I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
