The Daily Teaser — 13-10-2012

Hmmm …

That’s, somehow, surprising.

Or possibly unusual.

And certainly disturbing.

Just so you know what I’m talking about, the on-going enquiries into the behaviour of the late Jimmy Saville are heading into ALL sorts of places.

And dragging others into the mire, as well: including John Peel’s.

That’s a thing: one does not expect heroes to get tarred in quite the same way.

Let’s get moving on, shall we?   That’ll give me a way to work off some disappointment …

~~~~~
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi putting in her answers: along with wishing me well for Tuesday’s* interview, she also managed to bag 7 out of 7, in part by highlighting the US observance of Columbus Day.
“A Jew, in the dictionary, is one who is descended from the ancient tribes of Judea, or one who is regarded as a descendant from that tribe. That's what it says in the dictionary, but you and I know what a Jew is: One Who Killed Our Lord... there should be a statute of limitations for that crime.”
Lenny Bruce, October 13, 1925 – August 3
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
