The Daily Teaser — 11-2-2013: Turning Japanese

Well, folks, it’s official.   Essex — at least, my part of it — is now covered in snow.

It always seems to be the case that it happens a second time, when everyone’s least expecting it.

Says I.

But I do know a couple of things.   For starters, the gritters have, reportedly, been out over night.

And secondly, my little nephew, Jude, wasn’t necessarily impressed by it.   (There he is, along with Ruth, his mum/my sister.   Frankly … ?   I think he was more interested in the jam tarts he had, last night.)
