The Daily Teaser — 20-3-2013

Oh, well …

Looks like I’m going to have to be off to the local council, today.

As you know, I’m on various forms of benefit, whilst out of work: including one that covers my rent.

I’m happy to see it go to my landlord: although, like most of us, I’d prefer to be paying my own way.

But it does mean, once a year, I fill in a ‘Change of Circumstances’ form: complete with evidence.

Digging THAT up’s the pain: bank details, birth certificate, passport, statement, bills, shoe size, most recent hairdo, oy VEY … !

I better get a move on, hadn’t I … ?   Half a ton of paperwork doesn’t move itself …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
