† I’ll have to take your word on the pictures, Olga: it seems El País is behind a paywall! Either way … the fires sound horrendous. I can only hope you’re right: that the wind eases, and rain starts, soon. I suspect the water pollution can be dealt with, far more easily than the fires!
I hope the Festa goes well: it sounds like Barcelona needs a lift!
I don’t know if there’s a Spanish, or Catalan, linux distribution doing the rounds: but there’s a list of Spanish language distros on Wikipedia. Apparently, Molinux — the one sponsored by the government of Castilla-La Mancha — has versions named after the characters in Don Quixote.
Q5) the Old Testament Sorry about the pics. Everybody has to pay to read the content of the newspaper, although, when I checked, they'd made some of the content about the fires free, due to the situation, but that might have changed by now. It is becoming a problem, in general, because if you want to read the news from different sources, it would be quite expensive to have to subscribe to all the newspapers... I guess perhaps through the libraries...
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
