* Hello, Mum! (The film was released in 1984, Mum, not 1986: they made a big thing of that, if I recall …)
† Well … I’ve replaced the batteries, Olga: mind you, I’ve had to use the cheap ones I got, the other month. How long they’ll last, I don’t know!
The weight management class went well: I’m down eight hundred grams. The wholemeal bread’s helping …
‡ It’s worth thinking about, Debbi!
Oh, the bluray versions of the firsttwo series are on Amazon, Debbi: just in case that grabs you. (If you suddenly thought of ripping stuff? Only you’d need this drive§, in order to rip 4k blurays with MakeMKV. You can use any decent bluray drive if you’re just ripping 2k blurays.)

Well done on the weight front! And, at least you didn't miss the gas checkup. It would have been worse if it had been the other way round. I'm sure I've mentioned a couple who went to the theatre the day before they were meant to go, and the people at the door didn't notice the wrong date, so they came in and were trying to tell us we were wrong... Oh, well!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.

I’m glad I checked my emails!
