Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 12-11-2025 — Plymouth.

12th November, 2025: Plymouth.

Wouldn’t you know it … ?

I got my dates mixed up!

I had thought my gas safety check was due, yesterday.

It wasn’t until I opened my emails, yesterday, and got a reminder … that I realised the thing was supposed to be today.

Where do I put my face … ?

~≈🤦🏼‍♂️≈~

As it turns out … ?

Nowhere!

Robert Heath — my landlord’s boiler contractor — have just phoned.

Apparently, their tradesman is off, for some reason.

So they’ve rescheduled for two weeks time.

Ho … … … hum!

~≈🐫≈~

Let’s move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Mum* and Debbi† and putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

The day also saw Olga‡ leaving us a message.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here’s a thought …
“The settlement has played a significant role in English history, notably in 1588 when an English fleet based here defeated the Spanish Armada”.
From the Wikipedia entry on Plymouth.
A Fishermen’s Friends tune …

And an earworm …

The next ten question set is on 5th December: it’s about The Great Smog!

Your comments will be published, tomorrow morning.

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

AI is avoided, when writing these questions.

Answers are as accurate as possible: at the time of writing.

Decisions about scores are final.

Thank you for coming: have a good day.

*        Hello, Mum!

These things do take a while, don’t they, Debbi?   Which reminds me, I’ll have to start the next set of Teaser videos, soon.

Yeah … there’s always that one pair, isn’t there, Olga?   😆

Another day, and more footage reviewed. Getting there, slowly but surely. :)

My search also turned up a list of hotels in Plymouth, should I ever choose to visit. :) Is it a destination of any sort? Maybe I could film a movie there. Use local talent, etc. That would be fun. Maybe. :)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
