Well, there’s the only three photos I managed to grab, from tonight. Up top, there is Emma, doing her best not to pose, to the side are a couple of the Woodlanders team, and that’s Ria, at the bottom try very hard to not look shocked. Or possibly gamine, I should say, if I want to sound continental.
Maybe not. Either way, we had four teams in, tonight, which was about what I expected, including the No Idea’s, who lost tonight; – by a point. Quiet, but mostly old friends of the quiz. And a lot more actual people than at the original Hutton first night, all those years ago.
And, although Sue, the landlady has knock my price down, a little, I think she’s in for the proverbial long haul; – and offering to pay for more posters, from her budget, which reduces my costs, a little.
Anyway, I’ll post more tomorrow, including the actual quizzes themselves.
Catch you then.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
