I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
† Your Facebook, X/Twitter, Blogger, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn profile are acceptable. I also like seeing folks webpages.
ooh, this is a tricky one. B52's were very kitch, deliberately so, but great fun. Hmmm, can't tyhink of a proper criticism, well played. McColl, mixed feelings too, associated with the Pogues like the atomic age is associated with Einstein. Good or evil depends on your viewpoint! I cannot criticise a woman who died saving her childrens lives, so....
ReplyDeleteDid you know the Zang Tumb Tuum label has released a box set. I know you like FGTH and AoN. You may find some previously unreleased stuff available.
Hmmm, no I didn’t. I’ll have to check that out; – I might just be able to complete me 12” inch Frankie collection.
ReplyDeleteWhich sounds ambiguous, now I say it …
And you’ve not seen my severe cheese playlist, have you?
I love Kirsty. Such a tragedy that she's no longer with us. I've got ALL her CDs if you want me to copy some for you.
ReplyDeleteI've also got a FGTH double remix CD, but it's all new remixes (well, from 2000, so they're not new now). You can borrow it if you want. It's this: http://www.discogs.com/release/27034
Oh, ta, James, mite have to at that!!!
ReplyDeleteBut your both right, Kirsty MacColl’s death was a screaming tragedy!
