Ooh, MATRON … !

Don’t you just love it when I use a quote as a title?

Or possibly pseudo-quote, at least … ?

The reason I say that is “Ooh Matron” may one of those lines — like “Elementary, My Dear Watson”, and “Play it again, Sam” — is something we think we’ve remembered correctly, but is a distortion of the actual line.

Or I think it might be …

And, in this case, I believe the line’s attributable to practically any of Kenneth William’s appearances in practically any of the medically themed “Carry On” films.

But can’t point at any at the moment.   Gwen, if your reading … ?

But the reason I mention it, is that the teaser’s themed, today;  I’ve a good excuse, too.

Today‘s the day Sid James died.

So, as a result, there’s a “Carry on Teasing” kind of feel to the questions …

So, without further ado, here they are …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
