You know, I didn’t know if you knew, but my blog — like many sites — has an RSS feed as part of it.
Lord knows I’ve found this handy, for the sites I follow.
Basically, I can go to a site that’s displaying one of the pictured logos — usually shown in the URL bar, at the top of an open browser window, and indicating it’s got a feed — and press Shift (⇑
), Option (⌘) and D, and whenever a site is updated, I get a potted summary of the post.
Now I know that’s not available to everybody. But it seems that Internet Explorer 7* has recently been updated to include the same sort of feature.
And that there’s quite a few RSS reader programmes around, including a few for those of us on Linux. Most of which are free.
And seemingly able to filter out unwanted spam!
Here’s hoping people would like to add me as a feed.
I’m running out of space of my mailing list …
* There’s probably a nasty comment about Microsoft catching up, there. Especially after I saw the Super Bar, and the idea of a virtual XP desktop in coverage of Windoze 7. And OS X stopped doing that, in Tiger. I’ve got a Mac, what can I tell you … ?

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
