The Return of the TV Dinner …

Hmmm …

Well, now THERE’S a welcome return …!

I’ve just caught the trailer for series 2 of BBC drama, “Merlin”; Saturday the 19th, at 6•40.

And, outside of “Dr Who”, it’s a series I’m looking forward to!

The original series, last year, caught my attention as its reworking of the old stories with a very 21st Century feel, felt pretty darn good.

And what’s more, “Merlin” kept my attention for far longer than “Robin Hood”, “Primeval”, or “Demons”.

For the whole series, in point of fact!

It was a lot less ‘Right On’ than the Beeb’s updated “Robin Hood”, had as much emotional depth — and less doom & gloom — than “Primeval”, and, frankly, a lot less Emo’s than “Demons”.

Not having Phillip ‘Armed Bastard’ Glenister was a strike against it, but on the other hand, “Merlin” has got Katy McGrath.

I’m just glad Allison’s not here to see me write that, but there’ll probably be hell to pay, later …

Either way, I know what I’ll be taping, come next Saturday … !

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
