This is just going to be a quick post …
Quite literally … !
I’ve got to admit, I saw this piece on the BBC’s Breakfast News, this morning; and it’s something that struck me as a useful article to pass around.
Especially as I’ve met people whose children have had … hmmm … let’s call ’em near misses.
Actually, I’ve known one or two people who’ve had them as children, themselves.
Which gets me thinking that something like the discussed CEOP button could come in useful; even though Facebook themselves say they have some fairly robust measures in place.
Can’t hurt to have one or two more, can it?

I also know I’m quite happily backing up some of the stuff I’ve stored on my exterior drive, while I’ve been watching the Beeb’s annual Children in Need extravaganza.
Which is a definite Worthy Cause.
But one that — like most years — is something I tend to avoid like the plague.
There’s only so many dancing news-readers and (absolutely bloody FLAT) singing Hollyoaks cast members I can take …
But what has made it worth watching, for the past few years, has been the odd bit of Dr Who it’ll preview.
Remember Time Crash, a while back?
Yeah, that sort of thing …
Tonight Children in Need actually previewed a clip from the upcoming Christmas Special; which sees the Tenth Doctor meeting Ood Sigma, after Ood Sigma’s — seemingly — made a distress call.
I don’t know about anyone else, by that definitely isn’t enough …
Not ’til Xmas, it isn’t!

Saying that, I do know that I’m watch episode 10 of the second series of Torchwood; otherwise known as From Out of The Rain.
Fantastically creepy stuff.
Which isn’t surprising, actually; this particular episode was written by Peter Hammond, also responsible for the first season Torchwood episode, Small Worlds.
And also for the ITV classic that was Sapphire and Steel; actually, if you do manage to track down a copy of Sapphire and Steel, that’s well worth catching.
Actually, the other reason to catch From Out of The Rain is the simple fact that Julian Bleach — later cast as Davros — plays the stunningly creepy Ghost Maker.
Well worth catching!
