The Daily Teaser …

You know, that was a very quiet weekend, Teaser wise …

Let me rephrase that, it’s been a quiet weekend, so far: at least I know I got to see a good film, last night …

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor — by default — getting the First-in-Clap, and scoring 6 out of 6: let’s see if we can’t hustle up a few more punter’s, today, shall we?

Yes, let’s!

Here’s today’s questions, along with the ‘How To’ and License

Q1) 17th January, 38BC, saw which future Roman Emperor get married to Livia Drusilla?

Q2) 17th January, 1773, saw who sail below the Antarctic Circle, for the first time in recorded history?

Q3) 210 year’s later, 6:30 am, saw Britain wake up to its first Breakfast time TV show, on BBC1: name either of the two main presenters.

Q4) 17th January saw the Great Brinks Robbery: in which year of the 1950s was this?

Q5) And finally … 17th January, 1991, saw the start of which operation?

And here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
