The Daily Teaser — 23-8-2013: Hong Kong Garden Takeaway

I think we get say it …

I’ve woken up to mist … !

OK, granted, only a light mist: one that’s rapidly being burnt off the the sunshine.

But none-the-less, a nice light mist.

Personally … ?

I like that: it always gives a nice spin to a summer, when it happens.

Let’s move on, shall we*?

Before I start getting poetic …

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi† putting in her answers: along with letting us know she’s at the Jammy Dodgers, she also bagged four out of five.

Enjoy those: I’ll leave you with this thought from Nury Vittachi …
“You can leave Hong Kong, but it will never leave you.”
Nury Vittachi.
And with March Of The Volunteers: the song that Hong Kong uses as it’s anthem.

*        Just as a quick thought … ?   The Today programme has just mentioned an Exeter University study of Garden Snails: one’s covered in UV paint and LEDs.   The phrase ‘Super Speedy Disco Snails’ comes to mind …

†        The Red Crystal’s the Israeli Red Cross, Debbi: the Arabic one is the Red Crescent.   Oh, by the way: this is the link I emailed you, back in July: back when you machine was hit by a macro virus … ?   It tells you how to disable them, in your MS Office software, to make the transient ones less threatening.   The irony is, it sounded like it picked up a macro virus on the way, from what you were saying … !

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
