The Daily Teaser — 1/11/2013: All Saints Day

You know, I’ve got to admit to feeling tired.

I’ve an interesting reason for that, though: the film I caught, last night.

The Finnish made, Evil Rising.

Which, it HAS to be said, is quite interesting.   AND only cost £1·48 to rent.

So no complaints, there, then: and … ?   Well, to be frank, I’d suggest catching it.   The sauna at the heart of the film can only be described as ‘creepy’.

With that said … ?   Let’s get a move on.

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: along with letting us known she’d seen The Exorcist several times, and that she’d also considered changing her name to Regan‡, ALSO bagged ten out of ten.

Let’s see how she — and you — do with today’s questions, shall we?   Here they are, along with the ‘How To,’ License and video …

A10) A printer’s devil.
Enjoy those.

I’ll leave you with this observation …
“When I feed the hungry, they call me a saint. When I ask why people are hungry, they call me a Communist.”
Hélder Câmara.
And with Never, Ever: think about it … !

Have a good day.

*        Did you know The Exorcist was banned over here, Debbi: for quite some time, as well.   I think THAT scene had it placed on James Ferman’s† ‘Over My Dead Body’ List for almost three decades.

†        He was the longest serving head of the British Board Of Film Classification, Debbi, the organisation that hands out film ratings in the UK: he famously refused ratings to The Exorcist, and several others, and was fairly strict on cutting scenes that — in other parts of the world — barely got noticed.   (Ferman would’ve probably burnt Baise Moi, as soon as it was released)

‡        Actually, Debbi, there’s an old joke that’s bee around for years, if you want to offend a Republican.   “What have the USA and McDonalds got in common?”   “They’ve both been run by a clown called Ronald … ” Um …

Think you'll ever see Karen Chilvers and let her know that I don't hate her, because I unfriended her again or whatever. Okay?

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
