The Daily Teaser — 11-2-2014: The Papacy

Oh, I hate Mondays … !

No, really: I’m not a lasagne-loving cat, but I hate Mondays.

I actually managed to drop my iPod, yesterday: and Seriously knacker the screen.

I think we can safely say I’m not a happy bunny.

There’s a couple of upsides.   In spite of the smashed screen, it’s still playing music and games.

What’s more … ?   I’ve been given a few bob by my aunty, down in Kent.   Enough to get a new one.

OK …

Maybe “I Hate Mondays” is a bit strong …

The Outgoing Pope.
And with this alternative view of the Church …

Have a good day.

*        One Night In Bangkok’s been a favourite for years, Debbi: it’s from the musical, Chess, which is why I included it.   (Actually, the chap that sang it is a guy called Murray Head, Anthony Head’s older brother.  You know, played Uther, in Merlin: and Giles in Buffy: The Vampire Slayer.   He played Mr Finch in this episode of Dr Who)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
