The Daily Teaser — 21-4-2014: Henry VIII

You know, I must admit to having a quiet day, yesterday.

Bar the fact, of course, that it was Easter Sunday.

Which meant a certain nephew of mine … ?

Had a VERY good time hunting for Easter eggs.

Saying that?   Jude being Jude, had more fun with the plastic eggs, and the toy chickens.

In point of fact, I THINK I’ve got a video of him: having a WHALE of a time trying to making the chicks stand up.

Somewhere … !

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and bagging six out of six.

Let’s see how she — and you — do with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How ToLicense and video …

I’ll leave you with this song: possibly the only one I could feature …

And this thought from the man, himself …
“Well-beloved subjects! we thought that the clergy of our realm had been our subjects wholly, but now, we have well perceived that they be but half our subjects; yea, and scarce our subjects, for all the prelates, at their consecration, take an oath to the Pope clean contrary to the oath they make to us, so that they seem to be his subjects and not ours.”
Henry 8th, in a speech to Parliament in 1532.
Have a good Monday.

*        Which reminds me, Debbi, I’m going to have to check your site: for the name of the latest novel!   I seriously need to get ordering from the library … !

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
