The Daily Teaser — 25-4-20144: Martial Law

Blimey, interesting bit of news, there: especially if your something of a tech fan.

It seems people have been doing a bit of research: and found that the Amiga computer that famed artist, Andy Warhol had been given … had a few leftovers on it.

Well …

The computer, itself, didn’t.

The stack of floppies that had been found in a section of a specialist Warhol archive, did.

Personally … ?

Well, personally, I can’t help but think that’s a good piece of news: I think the basic procedures used to recover the images Warhol created on the system are going to come in handy to know.

After all, given the way the computer industry’s changed over the years, with many different operating coming and going … ?

We’re going to need to recover more stuff, I think.

At any rate … ?

Let’s get a move on.

And this tune.

Have a good day.

†        Guards, Guards, you say, Debbi … ?   Utter CLASSIC!   Commander Vimes is possibly one of my favourite Pratchett characters.   (And whoever played Nobby in Hogfather?   Was a GENIUS piece of casting, they got it right!)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
