The Daily Teaser — 9-7-2014

Well, things are calming down at the mo.

Well, I SAY calming down.

The finances aren’t perfect.   Very FAR from perfect.

But at least I know I’m due money from the Hardship Fund, until such time as my Job-seeker’s Allowance restarts.

The job hunting’s going … just.

The Fresh Start course I’m on … is actually quite fun, to be frank: it’s getting me out of the house and meeting people, if nothing else!

So … ?

My point is that I’m coasting, at the mo, until the Mandatory Reconsideration comes in.   Hopefully, that’ll go my way.

But I still find it both angering and annoying that I’m in the boots I am, through no fault of my own.

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring nine out of ten.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall ?

Here they are, along with the How ToLicense and video …

Q3) What was the force called, at the time: the North-West Mounted Police, the North-East Mounted Police or the South-West Mounted Police … ?

As a nod Bon Scott, AC/DC’s original lead singer, I’ll leave you with this tune …

And with this thought …
“In one gallery they actually had a notice which said ‘No Sketching.’ How obnoxious! I said, ‘How do you think these things got on the walls if there was no sketching?’”
David Hockney 9 July 1937.
Enjoy your day.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
