The Daily Teaser — 4-10-2014: The First Satellite

You know, you can TELL it’s Saturday, can’t you … ?

Most of us will have today and tomorrow off work.

Personally … ?

Well, personally, I’m off work: and was a barman for many years.   So a weekend isn’t that stunning a thing.

 Still …

I can get me job-searching done.   AND there’s a good chance of a night out, tonight.

It’s all good.

But let’s move on, shall we?

.
I’ll leave you with this thought …
“On Friday, October 4 [ … someone] orbited the world’s first artificial satellite. Anyone who doubted its existence could walk into the backyard just after sunset and see it.”

Mike Gray, Angle Of Attack.
And possibly the only ‘tune’ that’s appropriate …

Enjoy your day …

*        You know, it SUDDENLY occurs, Debbi: I gave you one HELL of a home-field advantage with yesterday’s set.   Well … Given the city where Edgar died … !

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
