The Daily Teaser — 12-11-2014

Hmm …

That seemed to go well.

My first day at work, I should add.

Saying that … ?

Saying that, it WAS our initial day day.   Basically, my fellow newcomers and I were all getting inducted: getting a basic run-down of the company’s aims, and what it does, basic Health & Safety and Emergency procedures, and doing the basic ‘joining up’ paperwork.

Which was nice.

The real stress test will be Friday, which is my next shift.

Before then … ?

Well, before then, I’ve got today.   Which includes a quick meeting with my Job Advisor: to see what help I can get, after returning to work.

Oh …

And I’ve got an interview, this afternoon, in Romford.

It never rains, but it pours …

~≈Ÿ≈~

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: and scoring seven out of seven.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How ToLicense and video …

Q2) That prefix can’t be preceded by what: http, https or ftp?
Q3) 12th November, 1990, saw Akihito crowned as Emperor of Japan. I her the 123rd, 124th or 125th Emperor?

Q5) 12th November, 2001, saw British plane spotters held on charges of spying: by authorities in which European country?
Q6) Finally … 12th November, 1954, saw New York city close its immigration control centre.   On which island was that centre?
Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

I’ll leave you with this song …

And this this observation …

Eddie Mair, born 12 November 1965.
Enjoy your day.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
