My rent’s gone up … !

I would love to be in a position to own my flat: I really would.

But that’s not going to happen unless I win the lottery!

At any rate: I rent.   And with the help I get … ?   It’s at an affordable price.

Yesterday … ?

I got the letter that told me how my my rent’s going up by, from my landlords.

I have To take that, and my last six payslips, into the council: so they can suitably adjust my housing benefits.

Even though my rent’s only actually gone up …
