The Daily Teaser — 30-3-2016: Batman

Hmmm …

A few days ago, now, I remember telling fellow Mac users of a nasty piece of ransomware that targeted people using a corrupted version of Transmission.

An issue since solved.

Lincolnshire County Council was ALSO attacked: again, an issue since sorted, but still worrying.

Something that DID catch my eyes, in the BBC’s Technology news, though … ?

Was this piece: telling us about a new piece of ransomware, doing the rounds … that infected small networks.

I don’t think something like that will target my machine: after all, it’s one individual Mac: and the variants are targeting Windows based networks.

But I can at least be careful.

However?

I’ve been talking to at least two local Councillors about this: and will be forwarding the piece, as and when …

But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Olga* and Debbi† putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s Batman themed questions, shall we?

I’ll leave you with this quote …

And these videos …

And you can’t mention the Bat … WITHOUT mentioning this guy …

Oh, they've cancelled the flight and I couldn't get anything over the weekend so now I'm coming back on Monday. Thankfully at least I'm at my mother's so there isn't an accommodation problem. :)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
