Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 5-3-2017

It’s official …

I’m now another year older: and theoretically wiser.

Although I wouldn’t necessarily guarantee that last bit!

At any rate … ?

I’m no older than I was, yesterday.

And?   Apart from the fact I seem to have picked up a case of something that’s making my foot very painful?

I feel fine.

Well …

Unless someone does something tactless, like mentioning how old I am!

~≈Ë≈~
But let’s move on, shall we?

Yesterday’s Teaser saw Debbi* putting in her answers: scoring five out of five in the process.   The day ALSO saw Olga† saying ‘Hello’: and letting us know where to find her YouTube channel‡.

Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?

Here they are, along with the How To, License and video

Q1) 5th March, 1872, saw George Westinghouse patent what: pneumatic tyres, air brakes or windscreen wipers?

Here’s yesterday’s questions and answers …

I’ll leave you with the words of Mr Rex Harrison …
“Exhilaration is that feeling you get just after a great idea hits you, and just before you realize what's wrong with it.”
Rex Harrison, 5 March 1908 – 2 June 1990.
And a song by Mr Murray Head …

Have a good day …

*        Oh, EASY, Debbi^: the chair’s got built in shielding, life support … and a suspended animation feature.   He’s a bit like Artoo Detoo: Artoo’s abilities only get defined, when the writers need him to have a helpful widget.   Likewise, we don’t know what Davros has built into that chair … until the writers think “Blimey, how do we bring him back, next time?”   Deus ex machina, I think they call it …

†        Got to admit, Olga^, I like Debbi’s style, as well!   I’m going to have to  see if I can’t add everyone’s YouTube channels to a sidebar!   (Overload!)

‡        Just so everyone knows?   My youTube channel can be found, HERE!   Debbi’s can be found, HERE.   Olga’s, as I’ve already mentioned?   Can be found HERE.   Subscribing to all three of us, will get you three peoples thanks: and some interesting content.

^        Did I mention I got given a blu-ray copy of Power of the Daleks, for my birthday?   It’s Patrick Troughton’s first outing in the role, and the colour version included?   Is beautiful, even it’s not authentic!

Happy belated birthday, Paul! And thank for the shoutout about the YouTube channel. I must create some more videos...I usually see the new videos when I connect to YouTube in the morning for my workouts, but not always get notified of everything.
I'm doing an online course and trying to finish writing a novel and I don't think my brain has much space left.
I hope you had a great birthday. Like the sound of the presents.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.

*   I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
