Yes, there are historical periods that are more 'lively' than others, but I guess ideas travel and are exported.
I must say that, like Debby, I'd also written George I and then I started wondering about dates but some of the articles were a bit all over the place...
As for George, good luck to him (I'll keep my personal thoughts about royalty to myself)

Speaking of horse racing, have I ever mentioned that I once met Dick Francis at a book signing (his book signing, that is). He was SO nice!
