Arrgh … ! I’m officially back to work, tomorrow … !
Arrgh … Arrghity ARGH ARGH … ARGH …
Not that I mind.
After all, being able to pay my own rent, and buy my food … ?
Is both good, and confidence building.
But, with this week’s hours going back up to something approaching normal?
It means I’ll be spending a lot of time at work.
Which means … ?
Well, right now, these two episodes of Mr Robot will be the last couple I see, until next week!

Episode 9 — eps2.7_init_5.fve — opens with the by now familiar flashback: in this case to the end of season 1, showing us Elliot (Rami Malek) answering his door … only to be arrested for stealing his psychiatrist’s boyfriend’s dog …
And, after making friends on his way in, Elliot’s released early: ironically, as a result of the 5/9 Hack he and
fsociety have pulled off.
Whilst he’s getting used to the outside world?
Darlene (Carly Chaikin) tells him about the disappearance of Trenton and Mobley (Sunita Mani and Azhar Khan). She’s worried they’ve been gotten too: by agents of Chinese super hacker group, the Dark Army.
Episode 10 — eps2.8_h1dden-pr0cess.axx — follows Agent DiPierro (Grace Gummer), as she tries to track down the 5/9 hackers. She’s got one lead: someone at the smart house
fsociety had hijacked has spotted Cisco (Michael Drayer) And put two and two together.
Elliot has been coerced by none other than Joanna Wellick (Stephanie Corneliussen), the wife of Tyrell Wellick …
She’s convinced Tyrell’s still alive.
And won’t let Elliot NOT say no.
Meanwhile? Whilst Cisco and Darlene attempt to get medical help for an
fsociety foot-soldier called Vincent …
Agent DiPierro is getting closer to Darlene and Cisco: putting out an APB call when she works our which restaurant the pair are eating at.
The two … really shouldn’t have sat by the window …

Am I still enjoying this … ?
Oh, my lord, yes.
Granted, these two episodes are a little slower than earlier ones in series two.
But no less for that.
Mr Robot’s second season is still taut, technically accurate — yes, you can set up a wifi aerial with a tin can* — and very watchable.
I’m loving it.
* It’s an old trick for picking up wifi signals. You need the right sort of cables, though. Elliot uses a Pringles can for it: it’s supposed to be the right length, and the foil covering on the inside is supposed to be very good at bouncing the wifi signal onto what-ever one is using as an antenna. Tell you what … you do it …
