Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s teaser …
Have a good day.
* Good grief! 8 track cartridges are even older than VHS, Olga: that’s if I’ve that right. And about as had to find as an old fashioned JAZ drive! At ANY rate? I hope you manage to find a suitable replacement for that VHS machine. I think, these days, there’s not as many DVD or Blu-ray players with record functions. A lot of companies seem to be focusing on smart TVs or media players, instead: that allow you to access catchup services. (Drat … I’ve still got a couple of old JAZ discs sitting around, lord knows how I’ll get stuff off them!)
† You’re not wrong, there, Debbi: the news is the gift that keeps on giving! There’s woman in Hull who’s car got invaded by bees, for example! Someone’s got to do something with that … ! (As for cash … ? I think I’ve had one of those weeks! Oy veh … !)
Q1) Dallas, Texas Q2) The Long and Winding Road Q3) Whitehorse Q4) Charles Lindbergh Q5) Fat You're indeed having a bad week. It is the TV that needs replacing (not urgently) and yes, hopefully, it will be a SMART TV and we won't need many other devices (although we still have VHS and DVD tapes). I still have floppy disks but apart from one that had been corrupted and I left with my cousin to see if he could recover any of the stories, I have the rest of the content on my computer. Perhaps I'll use them for one of those vintage decorating projects...
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
