Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 26-6-2017

I’m yawning, again!

And this time?

It’s for a serious reason.

Actually, now it isn’t.

It’s actually where I got home from work at 21:30pm.

Then went on to watch this week’s episode of Dr Who.

Can I be frank?

Episode 12, The Doctor Falls?

Had better be good.

As Episode 11, World Enough and Time?

Was bloody fantastic!

In other news?

In other news, my other favourite show — I’m Sorry, I Haven’t a Clue — is back on, this week.

Today: on Radio 4, at 18:30.

If you’ve not heard it?

You’ve missed the best show that never made it to TV!

Mick Jones of The Clash, born 26 June 1955.
Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser

Have a good day: cat ears or otherwise.

*        Blimey, that sounds serious, Olga: what on Earth has happened, any idea?   And would trying to raise money on crowd funding sites like Kickstarter be of any help?   I’m wondering if something has gone wrong at the accountants …

†        Actually, I’m still looking at that, Debbi.   I figure I’ve handed pout free quizzes here, over the years.   So, to add value — to make each quiz worth a fiver — I’d have to add a relevant link into the answers.   That’s taking a LOT of time!

‡        Morning, Trevor: nice to see you back on board!

I'm wondering at Kickstarter myself, but I guess we would need to come up with a new project perhaps. The organising of the book fair was a bit of a disaster. We had counted on a lot of the money coming from food sales, but nobody turned up for that and we had contracted services that had to be paid no matter what. The book sales varied but most of those were for individual authors and left us no money. We had many problems because people who had agreed to do things overcharged or never did them and trying to find a last minute replacement is expensive. Well... Perhaps we should have called it off before but people lent money to the cooperative to keep going and the hope was the money from the event would pay it back, but these things, unless you are well known, are run at a loss or with official backing and we had none. Oh well...
    Have a good week. ;)

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
