So that was the 2017 election?

I can’t help but think it was something of a damp squib … 

Right at the moment, though?

It looks like we have a hung parliament: with a chance of a coalition.

Or a minority government.

All I can tell you … ?

Is Brentwood’s still a Tory seat.

Although Labour seem to have done well, in increasing it’s majority.

Time to sit back and watch feathers flying: whilst someone tries to form a government …

Q3) The leader of the Scottish Nationalists isn’t standing in the election.   Because she is already a member of what?

A3) The Scottish Parliament.   What’s more, Nicola Sturgeon is Scottish First Minister: the Scots equivalent to the PM.

A4) Sinn Féin.   (As I recall?   Sinn Féin objects to taking the oath of loyalty to the Queen,seeing her as representative of occupying Britain.)
