“I looked along the San Juan Islands and the coast of California, but I couldn’t find the palette of green, granite, and dark blue that you can only find in Maine.”
* That’s always the things, isn’t it, Olga? Whoever came up with the phrase ‘fool-proof’ forgot there’s some really creative fools out there! At ANY rate … ? Prof. Hawking’s death is incredibly sad … his life as a miracle? I’d say it’s that: just because we can explain it, scientifically, doesn’t mean it’s NOT! If that makes sense? (Got to admit, I’ve sent them ANOTHER email … remind me to dig up Jeff Bezos, again … )
† Oh, I’d LOVE to have got it locally, Debbi. Trouble is, Maplin’s, bless them, didn’t have a comparable one, with an external power lead … ! What’s a body to do … ?

I hope the test goes ahead (they can do a blood test and get the results pretty quickly, but I am not sure if they would have access to the lab). It is easy to do when the test is far away. Fingers crossed!

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
† Your Facebook, X/Twitter, Blogger, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn profile are acceptable. I also like seeing folks webpages.
