American Horror Story — Series 7: Cult — Episode 5 and 6: Holes and Mid Western Assassin

16th September, 2018.

Yes, I’m right, aren’t I … ?

That intro’s just a bit … you know …

Odd … !

As for the comment at the END of it … ?

The less said, the better.

At any rate … ?

I’ve been at work, this morning: very early.   I officially — I think — have eyes that could do with closing.

Especially, having been up since four, and feeling rather tired.

And, having stared at a monitor for too long at work, what do I come home too?

MORE monitors.

Frankly?

I had a letter to write.

One that was much needed, and theoretically … ?   One that should help the cash flow.

Ha!

Frankly?

I don’t think much is going to make a difference to the cash flow problem, to be brutally honest.

Apart from maybe a lottery win.

A big lottery win.

One we could possibly describe as ‘humongous.’

I should be so lucky.

For starters, I can barely afford a lottery ticket.

For another?   I had to ask Siri how to spell ‘humongous’ … !

At any rate?

I’ve had a free evening: one I could catch more of American Horror Story Cult.

Yes: it’s still going strong …

~≈§≈~

Episode 5Holes — sees Beverly (Adina Porter) have her journalistic integrity called into question
.

Sees Kai (Evan Peters) broadcast a gruesome murder committed by the Clown Killers: all to bring his campaign into greater prominence.

All whilst Ally (Sarah Paulson) finds her phobias getting ever more powerful.

Episode 6Mid-Western Assassin — sees Ally taking Meadow (Leslie Grossman) to Dr. Rudy (Cheyenne Jackson) to confirm her story about the cult.

And Kai finds he has an unexpected opponent in the city council election.

One that makes him rather nervous.

All that … ?

And Meadow … finds the pressure a bit much.

~≈§≈~

Now …

Good … ?

Still enjoyable?

Yep: these two episodes are still keeping me focused on the series, and making me want more.

AND thrown a surprise or two at me: I didn’t expect Ivy (Alison Pill) to be involved with who she was involved with, after all.

Frankly?

I’m possibly going to try and catch a film at some point.

But will be watching more of Cult.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
