That letter I’m waving about in today’s Intro video … ?
Is what’s called a Notice Seeking Possession.
It’s an eviction notice, in other words, kicking someone out of their home.
The thing is … ?
And if you were paying attention to the video?
It’s not my eviction notice.
Not for me, not from my landlord.
It’s for someone on the other side of town.
~≈§≈~
So, I hear you say …
What are you planning to do with it, Paul?
Frankly, I’ve popped the landlord’s address on it, along side the phrase “Not Known At the Address”, and will be plonking it into the post when I go to town, later.
Sending it directly to the tenant?
Seems a little too cruel.
Either way … ?
I’m left wondering why an eviction notice for someone else land up on my doorstep?
Did the landlord make a mistake? I doubt it, somehow.
Did the tenant want help? I’d imagine so, but asking the Citizen’s AdviseBureau seems the better option.
Did the tenant want to get rid of the thing?
Well, frankly, that seems more likely: but shoving it in the bin — however unwise I might find it — seems easier.
I imagine I’ll never get to find out …
But I’d love to know* …

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
