Yes: I’m officially looking at a boring day … at non-work.
Unemployment has it’s ups and down.
Frankly? A lack of cash is abysmal.
That’s not necessarily the worst thing.
No.
The downside, sometimes … ?
Can quite simply be the huge amount of boredom.
Yawning one’s head off … ?
Can be lovely …

One thing I did do — in between bouts of boredom — was read this article.
Seemingly? Various Apple execs are taking a somewhat intrusive line with the various execs making content for their upcoming video streaming service.
Apple being the firm it is?
That’s somehow not surprising.
It’s possibly concerning. Although, possibly not. There was talks that a famous film company wanted to turn Terry Pratchett’s Mort into a film: but didn’t after one executive asked Sir Terry to take Death — one of two of the book’s main characters — out of the script.
Either way?
I can’t help but feel that this sort of situation is where Apple’s feeling the loss of Steve Jobs.
From what I could understand from his biography?
He kept his hands off the creative process at Pixar* …

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Badwolf†, and Debbi‡ putting in their answers: with both scoring five out of five.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q3)6th March, 1987, saw the sinking of the MS Herald of Free Enterprise: just as it was leaving the port of Zeebrugge. Port, and sinking, were off the coast of which country?
* If I’ve understood it correctly? Jobs bought what was then Lucasfilm’s computer animation section: with a vague idea of turning it into a company that sold CGI workstations. The fact it made hit movies, and turned Jobs into Disney’s largest shareholder at the time, was a side issue.
† Morning, Badwolf! If you’re getting sunshine, up there, can you send it our way?
‡ I have to admit, I’ve never read M*A*S*H, Debbi. Or seen the movie. Possibly a loss!
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
