Well, frankly, it’s been warm enough for me to have my second shower of the the day … just to try to cool down.
It’s that toasty.
The only good thing … ?
Is that we’re expecting rain on Saturday.
I’m looking forward to that.

Are a boon.
Especially when it‘s time to sit in front of an overheated TV.
One that’s just helped me get through Act Three of the Marble Hill Zone, in the original Sonic the Hedgehog …

Episode 6 — Chapter Six: E Pluribus Unum* — opens in the middle of the Mind Flayers attack on Nancy and Jonathan (Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton): with the pair being rescued by Eleven (Millie Boby Brown.)
Under Starcourt? Steve and Robin (Joe Keery) are captured, drugged, and interrogated, but Dustin and Erica (Gatan Matarazzo, Priah Ferguson) arrive to rescue them.
With help, Hopper and Joyce (David Harbour, Winona Ryder) learn from Alexei of the Russian efforts to build gate machines to access the Upside Down, including one under Starcourt.

Eleven’s not finished: once Nancy and Jonathan are safely back with the gang, she uses arcane method of accessing Billy's (Dacre Montgomery) memories.
Doing so? Mean’s Billy knows where she is … but ALSO show her where the Mind Flayer is.
What it doesn’t show her … ?
Is what’s brewing under the old steel mill … … …
Things … ?
Are getting just a bit oozy …

The tension is slowly getting ratcheted up …
I’ve got admit, I’ve thorough enjoyed Stranger Things: ever since series: it’s a nice mix of well paced story telling, beautiful acting, a cast that works well together …
And half a ton of gruesome effects.
Series three? And this episode of series three?
Are showing us the Duffer Brothers haven’t lost their touch.
To be frank?
The climax of tonight’s episode, with Billy (Dacre Montgomery) threatening Eleven, and the people of Hawkins marching to their deaths — not something to watch on an empty stomach — were superb bits of TV.
Actually?
Those deaths, including that of the benighted Mrs Driscoll?
That’s haunting imagery, not to be forgotten in a hurry.
All hail E Pluribus Unum: and roll on episode seven!
