* Yeah, I’ve worked that out with the first batch, Trevor‡. Mind you, the one I had last night … ? I had to hammer the breadknife through it … ! I’m hoping the baking spud sized ones won’t be as tough!
† Sounds even better, Debbi‡! As for the urine sample? Thankfully, I got let off: my next appointment’s in three months time. Hopefully, the Corona virus will have blown over, by then!
‡ I was seriously thinking of scoring you both at four out of five. I know Trevor will possibly give me an argument: but apparently, the Angelus has its origins in 11th century monastic traditions, involving reciting the Ave Maria three times.
Hi, Paul: Just to let you know, although if everything had been all right (i.e. no coronavirus) we would be finishing our course tomorrow, now with the new situation, Cambridge University have agreed to us doing the teaching online, so we will be doing that from Monday for the next two weeks (we'll do three hours each, divided in 4 45 min slots). In theory, we might have a bit more time, because we won't have classes in the afternoons (the normal lessons will finish tomorrow) but they've advised us to meet online and practise, as it is quite different to our experience teaching in class. So I'm not sure if I'll have any extra time or not from next week onwards, although we will finish on the 9th (in fact, my last lesson should be on the 8th, but I'll have to be there for feedback and observation on the 9th). So my disappearance might last a bit longer, although, in theory, we'd done all the preparation beforehand, but now we have to adapt it to online. Wish me luck! And keep safe! And regards to Debbi!
You ask some tough questions, Paul. And I'm a professionally-trained researcher. Lord! :)

Not terribly original. That last one. :)
I've published a letter to my congressional reps as part of Virtual Dystonia Advocacy Day/Week on one of my blogs. Three guesses which and the first two don't count! :)
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
