* You’re talking about the torrenting, Debbi? The problem with it is I may be downloading the associated file … but I’d also redistributing it to others. If I’ve understood it correctly? Let’s say I make a torrent file of one of the movies in my collection. I upload the file to Pirate Bay: to give you an example. You come along, and download the torrent file: and start downloading the file, chunk at a time. You’d also be making it available to others. Olga comes along, and decides she wants the movie: and downloads the torrent file. She opens it … and downloads/uploads chunks of the file from you and me. And to you and me. Trevor and David turn up, and do the same: upload and download bits of the film. Each person downloading makes the bits they’v got available to everyone else who’s already downloading. If I’ve understood the terms of DVDs and blu-rays, we’re forbidden from broadcast the film across the ’Net. Which includes uploading it to Youtube … but also distributing it though Pirate Bay. Oh, wait, hang on … you mean the Bill Gates quote …
Don't worry about it, Paul. Though I would avoid widely distributing a copyrighted work. Just seems disrespectful to the creator, who wants to get paid.
These are tough questions that I don't have enough current knowledge of copyright law to answer with much degree of confidence. :) And every case depends on circumstances, so as they say, don't rely on me. Ask a current practitioner. That's about all I've got.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
