You have to, with a YouTube channel.
So I’ve spent most of today staring at a monitor, happily editing.
And part of this evening … ?
Staring at a TV!
Yes: it’s another Sunday night: which means another episode of the first series of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.
It’s got to be said, Nathan Lane is very impressive!

Episode 6 — How it is with Brothers — opens with Detective Michener and Vega (Nathan Lane and Daniel Zovatto) escorting Diego (Adan Rocha) into the station house to be interrogated.
In other parts of LA? Sister Molly (Kerry Bishé) is having breakfast with her mother, Adelaide (Amy Madigan): who promptly warns her daughter about the dangers of passion.
Dr Craft (Rory Kinnear) has the big conversation with his wife, Linda (Piper Perabo).
Maria (Adriana Barraza) … ? Manages to track down her son, Mateo (Johnathan Nieves).
Whilst, back at the station … ? Back at the station, Captain Vanderhoff (Brent Spiner) warns Michener and Vegas that he needs result.
Which is inspirational …
As it leads Tiago to tell Lewis who killed Officer Jim Reilly.
And leads Detective Lewis Michener to persuade Diego to confess to Reilly’s murder … and to the killing of the Hazlett family …
Case closed?
Not by a long shot …

Now …
Am I impressed with this series?
Yes.
Was I seriously impressed with episode, Josefina and the Holy Spirit?
Yes.
Did I tell you it was on a par with Buffy The Vampire Slayer’s best episode, The Body?
Has Josefina and the Holy Spirit been knocked off its perch by this episode?
Dear god, yes!
How It Is with Brothers takes place mostly in a police interrogation room. With only a few scenes breaking the focus, to keep us abreast with the other characters: including Sister Molly, who I’ve become mildly suspicious of, ever since last weeks episode.
Tonight … ? Tonight’s episode is a three hander: with Detective Vega alternatively threatening and cajoling Diego, Diego bullying and teasing Vega …
And the pair trying to hide or tell, Michener (Nathan Lane) the facts of the death of Jim Reilly.
It’s Penny Dreadful: City of Angels most watchable episode.
In point of fact?
It’s Penny Dreadful: City of Angels best episode.
And that’s because Nathan Lane give the performance of a lifetime.
If you watch no other episode of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels — or Penny Dreadful, for that matter — make sure that episode is How It Is with Brothers.
