I’ll happily admit I was feeling decidedly glum, this morning.
I suffer with mild depression: and, after getting a funding request turned down?
Was feeling the emotional after effects.
Believe it or not?
I think telling you — yes, you, Mr, Ms or Mx Reader — seemed to help.
I’m not especially religious: certainly not Roman Catholic.
But I think that the Church may have a point: that the act of confession may have some uses.

Right at the moment?
You’re possibly aware that I’ve been blogging for many years.
Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar has been around for a while and seen a few changes.
At the moment?
I’m using the latest change to the interface that let’s me post.
I’m still unsure about it.
However, and as you can see in this experimental post? The new interface cannot accept YouTube or Spotify embed codes.
Nor will it accept html tags.
Something the Legacy interface does very well.
I’m hoping that’s something Google will improve.

This was not — at least not completely — what I wanted to tell you.

I’ve been watching TV.
Again.
And, as you’ve possibly worked out from the poster?
I’ve caught the penultimate episode of series one of The Mandalorian.
Ladies and gentlemen, we have a cliffhanger.

Chapter 7 — The Reckoning — sees the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) in deep space: but being contacted by his former employer, Greef Karga (Carl Weathers).
Greef? Has a proposition for The Mandalorian.
The Client (Werner Herzog)? Has commandeered Greef home town: along with a lot of storm troopers.
And, it seems, the Client won’t be moving on until the many trackers he has out … ? Gains control of the Child … !
Greef has only one option.
Take the Mandalorian, and the Child, to the Client … or never see his home again.
He needs the Mandalorian to help.
Preferably … ? Without too much bloodshed …

Now …
We have another good episode, tonight. One with nice action scenes, sparse, but meaningful, dialogue, an intense new enemy — in the shape of Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon — and …
And a cliffhanger: one that’s got me looking forward to the next episode.
