I have to admit, I’ve just looked at the trailer for Dune … and, given Zendaya’s in it?
I now have Zendaya’s Swag It Out, ear worming through my head.
Oy!

Let’s move on, shall we?
Yesterday’s Teaser saw Trevor*, Olga†, Mum‡, Debbi^ and Edithª putting in their answers: with Trevor, Olga, and Debbi scoring five out of five, Edith on four, and Mum on three.
Let’s see how everyone does with today’s questions, shall we?
Q1)6th December is Constitution Day. Where: France, Spain or Germany?
Q2)The Anglo-Irish Treaty was signed on 6th December. Of which year of the 20th Century?
Q3)6th December, 1888, saw the birth of actor, Will Hay. His film, Oh, Mr Porter, was said to be the UK’s best what: comedy, drama or documentary?
Q4)6th December, 2017, saw Donald Trump’s administration announce they were recognising Jerusalem as the capital of where?
Q5)Finally … ? Singer and keyboard player, Mike Smith, was born on 6th December, 1943. He was the singer and keyboard player for which ’60s British band?
† It’s a great read, Olga: and feels good, as well. Kind of like … um … well, you’d possibly have to feel a copy: an Amazon review doesn’t quite catch that!
Bureaucracy’s a pain, isn’t it? Laptops or certificates, bureaucracy’s a pain … ! Let’s have a tune, shall we?
‡ Hello, Mum! Are we still on for dinner?
^ If you’re a prat, Debbi, I’m 6’3” … ! :D Sorry, that’s an old line! I think what gets Ms McDermid is Sir Terry does a very good police procedural. And sketch. The password scene in Guards, Guards is something else … !
ª There’re worth a go, Edith: Night Watch — and Nation — are arguably Sir Terry’s best works.
Q1) Spain (I remember when this constitution was created. I was in school and we studied it. I remember we already wanted to make changes to it at the time, but, of course, I was too young to vote). Q2) 1921 Q3) comedy Q4) Israel Q5) The Dave Clark Five No, reviews can't capture everything. I'm going to write a review of crocheting (craft) book and although I've taken a couple of pictures I don't think it's easy to explain what goes on without showing the whole book.
A1 Spain A2 1921 A3 comedy a great film I have seen it many times. A4 Israel A5 Dave Clark Five
Had interesting trip into Shenfield this Morning. The driver of the 10.11 #80A was guided round the bit of the route that I was on by an ex member of the committee of the Brentwood Bus and Rail users group from 1/3 of the way down the bus.

The word "prat" always makes me think of "upper-class twit". :)
That's interesting about Val McDermid and Terry Pratchett's writing. Hmm ... anyway, my TBR list is turning into a small mountain of books to read. I have a large molehill of Hammett Award hopefuls to wade through. Yeah ...
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
† Your Facebook, X/Twitter, Blogger, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn profile are acceptable. I also like seeing folks webpages.
