Nik Nak’s Daily Teaser — 13th May, 2021.

13th May, 2021.

Yes!

I’m officially undecided …

Do I nip up to the High Street, to get some shopping?   Ot into Romford, to cash in a box set?

Either way?   I’m going to get wet.

It’s raining.

If you recall … ?

I’ve mentioned the Voter ID requirements introduced in the recent Queens Speech: and that there was a petition doing the rounds.

Something that’s now got over sixty-four thousand signatures.

If you’re in the UK, and looking to sign that petition, I’ve embedded it into the sidebar of the desktop version of Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar.

Feel free to sign it.

Daphne du Maurier, 13 May 1907 – 19 April 1989.
And a song …

Today’s questions will be answered in tomorrow’s Teaser.

Feel free to share today’s video Teaser.

Have a good day.

*        You’re right, Olga: it does!   Those hidden charges are a problem!
Funny all thing, you always look very graceful in your videos.   Mind you, you, me and Debbi are all sitting down when we film them!
(Oh, the exercises went well: I’m sure I’m doing one wrong, though!)

†        Hello, Mum!

‡        They’ve closed Hanging Hill Lane?   What on earth’s happening, Trevor?

^        The Pulps seem to have had an effect, Debbi!

ª        Blimey!   I never knew was was in one of Lowe’s videos, Edith!   I learn something new, every day! I did know he and Ian Dury were both on Stiff Records, though.
(Oh, sorry about yesterday’s score, Edith: questions’ were harder than I thought they’d be!)

Good luck with everything. And exercising, sometimes it takes a while to get the hang of things. It's true that sitting down makes one look more graceful. I am OK, generally, if a move in a straight line, but anything that involves twirling or spinning...

Today and 2 more days before the anniversary of Whit Sunday 1948.

Hanging Hill Lane was only closed for ½ a day due to road works. Not sure if it was not BT trying to reconnect Hutton Mount to the Internet.

I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?

I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.

Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.

Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.

Thank you.
