* He was the only player to die playing at Lord’s, I know that, Olga! If you’re going to go, go there.
At any rate … I might have a chance to put the chair together, today … once I’ve done the next set of videos, caught up with Picard, got my gas paid for … it’s one of those days … !
† Hello, Mum!
‡ I hope so, Debbi: there can be all sorts of misunderstandings! Oh, I’m going to be starting on Picard, season three, tonight: I’ll have my review up, tomorrow. (The first episode’s called The Next Generation. I wonder who else is in it … … )
Q3) All the President’s Men (I think it’s 1925 not 1924, at least according to Wikipedia and IMDB)

Q5) the Moon It sounds as if you have one of those busy but stuck days. I hope you can do everything you plan and you don't have to wait too much for the engineer to come. I've been having a bit of a cold and I can hardly talk today. I was supposed to be covering a children's carnival party tomorrow morning (I was supposed to be a member of the jury to decide on the fancy dresses as well), but I don't know if I'll have any voice left tomorrow or not. I've messaged the editor of the programme to see what he thinks. It is an open-air event, with music and noise, so it is common to run out of voice by the end of it even when your throat is OK, so I don't know.
I love it when someone comments. But, having had anonymous comments I feel may be libellous, actionable or just plain offensive, over the years?
I’d appreciate you* leaving your name — with a link to your website or social-media profile†, for preference — before you post a comment.
Should you choose to use a pseudonym/name, I’d appreciate it if that name were to be polite and inoffensive. I’d rather you kept it clean, and relatively grown up. Comments left with a pseudonym will be posted at my discretion: I really prefer a link.
Contentious, actionable or abusive posts left anonymously will not be posted. Nor will comments using offensive pseudonyms or language, or that are abusive of other commenters.
Thank you.
* I know many value their online privacy. I respect that. But hope you respect my wish to see who’s commenting on my blog: and my wish for you to introduce your self to me, and to your fellow commentors.
